Zayden Wilcox had what he considered a dream job: Space Patrol Marshal for the sector of Losig Maltrose Station and beyond. He had a routine that would bore a normal man to tears, a staff who loved him, and an ex-smuggler ship he called home. Then everything went to heck when his ex-fiancée showed up with a surprise thirty years after she left him at the altar.
Oh, and did we mention the interdimensional disaster unfolding or the assassin trying to kill him. Yeah, boredom was looking better by the minute.
